Established during Electra Mining Africa in September 2014, SAMPEC collaborates with diverse stakeholders to enhance opportunities for local suppliers in the South African mining sector. By fostering economies-of-scale, it strengthens its members’ global competitiveness.
SAMPEC promotes the global development of innovative technologies in minerals processing and beneficiation. Its focus is on fostering a safer, more sustainable, and environmentally responsible industry.
Cross-sector collaboration with government, industry associations, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, and research organisations ensures alignment with national policies. This unified approach benefits not only mining and minerals processing but also the broader South African industrial landscape.
